OMAHA, Neb. — August 3rd, 2024

The North Omaha Music and Arts Festival kicked off on Saturday and will continue through Sunday.

It was the third year for the event, organizers said it allows them to celebrate the legacy of the 24th Street Corridor.

Headlining the show was world renowned saxophonist Eric Darius plus quite a few local acts.

“We have Marcy Yates. You can hear Omaha Street Percussion in the background. Yeah. We are trying to offer things that are transformational for the community. And again, bringing back the spirit and rich legacy that this quarter was built upon,” executive director Dana Murray.

NOMAFEST goes through Sunday with more acts lined up.
