Omaha, Neb. (July 24, 2024) – North Omaha Music & Arts (NOMA), a creative arts academy for the youth of our community, is proud to present its third annual NOMAFEST – a free live music festival at NOMA at 24th and Lake streets. In addition to music, this two-day community event will have vendors, food trucks and a play area for children. It will take place Sat., Aug. 3, and Sun, Aug. 4, and will bring together a lineup of top musical talents headlined by world-renowned recording artist Eric Darius. 

Eric Darius, a Billboard chart-topping saxophonist, songwriter, producer and performer is excited to be part of this year’s NOMAFEST, sharing his energy-filled music with the community and helping support NOMA’s mission of enriching and empowering the community through music and art.

Along with a variety of musical performances, this year’s NOMAFEST emphasizes the importance of music education for the next generation. Saturday will feature a drumline battle with drumlines from across the city. Sunday’s activities include a town hall discussion led by Dana Murray that focuses on the topic of raising the bar for excellence in music, and a master class by Malik Work as he shares how hip-hop fueled his music career.

We’re proud to feature local talent and world-renowned musicians along with special events that show the importance of music education and how it helps students achieve success.
