BIG BAND JAZZ + HIP-HOP = BRASS AND BOUJEE

Brass and Boujee is the newest collaboration between trombonist and arranger Marcus Lewis and emcees Kemet the Phantom and Kadesh Flow. Combining hip-hop and big band jazz sounds, Marcus arranges the original songs of both emcees to create a blended sound that draws in fans of jazz, hip-hop and beyond.

Following the release of their self-titled debut album, “Brass and Boujee,” in August 2018, the group charted at #15 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Chart and peaked at #1 on the iTunes Jazz Charts.

Come listen to the ensemble band play featuring Malik Work & Daryl Jr.

Actor-writer-musician Malik Work is a founding member of The Real Live Show, a groundbreaking music conglomerate known for bringing the NYC jazz and hip-hop communities together for albums, events, and projects that transformed the culture of both.

Daryl Jr. is a singer and songwriter currently performing in Omaha, Neb.

With his crowd-captivating energy throughout his world-renowned live performances, Billboard chart-topping, American saxophonist, songwriter, producer and performer, Eric Darius is breaking the mold of modern Jazz.
