OMAHA, Neb. — North Omaha Music and Arts unveiled a new state-of-the-art center aimed at educating the next generation of musicians while growing the economy.

It’s located along the North 24th Street Corridor.

The space will provide specialized learning with instruments and an enhanced performance venue that honors the rich jazz history of the area.

“We’re proud of the fact that not only that we created a destination along 24th Street Corridor, but this place is probably…probably the most diverse gathering of people ever. And ever is a long time,” said Dana Murray, executive director of NOMA.

Murray also said this is yet another step the organization is taking in revitalizing the corridor.
